Yes. You can create your account and sign in using your existing Google or Microsoft account. No separate Scanlog password needed. If you sign up this way, your email is verified automatically — no activation email required.
Nope. Scanlog is entirely web-based. Your team manages everything through a browser on any device. There's nothing to install on a server or workstation. When someone scans a QR code with their phone camera, they're taken straight to the right booking action — no app download required.
Most teams are up and running within an hour. You add your equipment, print QR labels, invite your team, and you're live. If you already have an asset list in Excel or a spreadsheet, you can bulk upload it directly — Scanlog creates your categories and locations automatically from your file. Your first QR label can be printed the same day you sign up.
When the 14 days are up, you choose a plan and subscribe to continue. All your assets, bookings, users, and settings carry over exactly as you left them. If you're not ready to commit straight away, your account simply goes inactive — your data stays safe until you come back.
We will keep your data for a period of 30 days. After that, your data will be permanently deleted from our system.
