How does Scanlog's pricing work?

Our pricing is simple: pay per asset, per month, billed annually in sets of 10 assets. No per-user fees — invite your whole team without extra costs! Plans start at just $1.67 per item/month for Basic and $2.50 for Professional. (Psst... there's a minimum annual spend.)

What plans are available?

Scanlog has two paid plans. Basic includes asset tracking, QR codes, bookings, check-out/in, email notifications, calendar, reports, and team management. Professional includes everything in Basic plus enterprise-level audit logs, advanced analytics, and bulk booking uploads. Both plans include a 14-day free trial.

Is billing monthly or annual?

Plans are billed annually. This gives you the best per-asset rate. All mid-period changes (adding slots, switching plans) are prorated so you only ever pay for what you actually use.

What payment methods do you accept?

Accepted Answer

All major credit and debit cards, processed securely through Stripe. Scanlog never stores your card details — that's handled entirely by Stripe, which is PCI-compliant.

Question 5

Can I switch plans?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Upgrading (Basic to Professional) takes effect immediately — you get access to the new features right away and your bill is prorated. Downgrading (Professional to Basic) takes effect at the end of your current billing period so you keep the higher-tier features until then.

Question 6

Can I add more assets mid-subscription?

Accepted Answer

Yes, any time. Add more asset slots from your billing page and the cost is adjusted immediately on a prorated basis — you only pay for the remaining portion of the billing period. If you reduce slots, your bill is adjusted the same way.

Question 7

What happens to my data if I cancel?

Accepted Answer

Your data is retained for a period after cancellation in case you decide to reactivate. After that retention window, it's permanently deleted. See our Privacy Policy for full details. We'll never sell your data or use it for advertising.

Can I cancel at any time?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Cancel from the billing page whenever you like. Your subscription stays active until the end of the current billing period — we don't charge cancellation fees or cut access early. After cancellation your data is retained for a period in case you come back.

Do you offer discounts for schools or non-profits?

Accepted Answer

Is there any refund policy?

Accepted Answer

No. There is no refund policy. If there is a cancellation, the subscription is updated to stop at the end of the current billing cycle (subscription period).
